have swapped 2 different boards, can try switching the dram sticks, or ordering new ones. also the cmos battery on the motrola communications battery was dead, put a new one in, was wondering if there was a cmos reset/ jumper?

Did you release the emergency key and then press stop and reset twice on the machine?
