Give me your opinions and experiences of SelectX, selective debridging system in the Vitronics Soltec wave soldering machines.

Does anybody using Vitronic Soltec's Delta 5 wave have any problems with their Select X. Apparently there are others out there (according to our rep) who are having problems. I am curious as to what they are and what you are doing to fix it.

Hi Adam, What kind of problems have you heard of? The reason I ask is that we just bought a Delta 5 recently and are awaiting for the SelectX to be installed on our machine. We haven't received it yet. Steve

I don't know if we are on the same track. It is not that our select x isn't working well, It's not working AT ALL.

We use our SelectX daily and it works just fine. Do you have the parameters set correctly? Temp, speed, flow, etc.?

I hope that we have not lost much quality, but am still bothered by the way our select x is working. It seems to do very well when I can get the nozzle head within 5/1000 of an inch to the board as it passes. However, when I increase that distance
