The vision on our semi-automatic printers allows the operator to draw a box around a pad for reference. Then as long as both reference pads are lined up on consecutive boards, it's aligned.

No way I've ever heard to remove mositure from solderpaste. What is the R.H. in your factory? Are you in the tropics? Does you printer have an enclosed print area like on an automatic machine, or is it semi-automatic and exposed to the room air?

If you are running FR4 PCBs and not something exotic like Kapton flex circuits, I would go with the Dek 265 any day of the week. You will find that Dek supports the fully automatic printer much better than the semiautomatic printers like the 260, 24
