Davef is right on as usual. We are doing exactly what you do. Some smt with no clean paste then the plate through connectors on our selective solder machine using water soluble flux. We then clean with a ultrasonic water process. We do see the re

Sorry, but I don't know this brand. Anyway pay attention, because if the chemistry is resin based, is difficult to clean and the residuals may be hygroscopic. So, I only can suggest you to read the data sheet and follow the instructions by the solder

My company currently uses water soluble paste for our SMT process. We were having trouble retaining hot water in our in line, closed loop DI cleaner. The cleaner kept shutting down when the water temp. dropped below 125C. As a result, the conveyor

Thank you for your response. We build boards on an SMT line that is shared with other companies too and are currently using water soluble flux based solder paste on both boards. We realized an issue with washing on one of the boards so requested to

We are trying to build two different PCBs - one with no wash flux solder paste and the other with a washable flux solder paste. How difficult is it to use the same SMT line and switch between the two pastes? I assume there will be some cleaning invol

Need more information. BUT if your strictly considering just the paste change. I would imagine your changeover would be little to no different than changing to the second board if you were using the same paste. Maybe take extra care cleaning your sq

Our facility helps customers clean no-clean soldered boards on a regular basis, and it definitely can be done but is a little more challenging than boards built with water soluble flux - one piece of advice I would give is to use low water pressure (
