Everyone's telling you setpoints, but yet, we haven't seen a thermal profile from you. It'd help if you can provide this, and using everyone's recommended setpoints, determine if your profile is meeting: 1.)Time Above Liquidus 2.) Peak 3.) Ramp

Electrovert OmniExcel 10 Oven - Zone 5 Upper won't hold temperature

Electronics Forum | Thu Oct 25 10:05:05 EDT 2012 | kz9yyc

Hello all, I am having difficulty with an OmniExcel 10 oven. Zone 5 upper will not hold setpoint = 165C (it typically runs ~10C higher). Here is what I know: 1. The machine is not turning on zone 5 heat when temp is too high. 2. Zone 5 lower is

Well Im more of a wave guy but we had an employee in the engineering department, he's left the company but he used these setpoints on the ovens in ai. 180, 170, 170, 190, 200, 225, 225 I heard they worke pretty well at those deltas

DI cleaner (washer) bath temperature

Electronics Forum | Tue Feb 27 08:36:03 EST 2007 | CAN

I have always locked the setpoint at 130-135F 135 being hte max temp most media beds can handle. If you breach/exceed 140 the media will break down or gum up which will cause many probelms for you.

DEK HORIZON 265 Squeege Pressure question

Electronics Forum | Wed Nov 06 07:27:47 EST 2019 | kylehunter

To do that requires a calibration scale, which we don't have. But even if it is out of calibration, it still wouldn't explain why it states that the setpoint is 5kg always, even when it is set to 12kg.

Mf Eng, I am impressed! A real Engineer, quoting from his sophomore year Thermodynamics class, "energy is neither created nor destroyed." I believe that's the 1st Law? I agree with you on your points, 'cause it'd be my guess that if the pot is lef

Belt speed measurement

Electronics Forum | Wed Sep 22 19:10:39 EDT 2004 | Rush Fan

I was wondering if anyone has ever considered measuring the belt speed of their reflow ovens using some type of hand-held, preferably non-contact device? If so, could you recommend a manufacturer of such a device? We are considering measuring our act

reflo oven settings

Electronics Forum | Wed Mar 15 17:52:37 EST 2006 | russ

Set points are unique to each individual oven. You cannot tell anything with the setpoints at the zones. your profile is a soak profile most likely. Suspicious ..... Absolutely! Flux activation is not important and neither is the temp of the boar

Reverse Spike

Electronics Forum | Wed Aug 16 18:25:11 EDT 2006 | jhamner

I have seen a lot of discussion recently regarding reverse spike and double spikes in the reflow profiles of ovens. This is where a zone other then the last zone is the peak temperature, or where the last 2 zones have the same setpoint. Anyone have
