Good afternoon, Could you tell me if MPM AP25/HiE can be equipped with side clamping system (snuggers)? It would be great to know the price of such modification as well. Thanks in advance. BR, Pavel

You can get a topside edge-clamping system to fit your AP HI E printer from Gridlok. They make a universal tooling system and topside edgeclamping system for the AP series and UP 2000 series printers. The Y snugger tooling option when ordered with t

Shouldn't the top of the board be at the exact same height as the top of the side clamps? Why are the clamps holding the stencil up off the board?

You need a machine with side clamps. DEK makes them. MPM makes them. Look into a retro for your machine. Both take up space on top of your board. Be carefull of top side component clerance if switching.

Turn off Grid-Lok, turn off side clamps. Use hand inserted tooling (yeah, you may have to do some thinking here)for support. If you have vacuum, turn it on. People still use Grid-Lok?

Yes. I used to use em on our old 286. The side clamps work very well with them and our missing parts from support pin problem went away. It was our #1 defect a few years ago. 100%ing work orders for missing parts sucks.

Dude: I have used the Grid-lok system before, in DEK 265 and DEK Infinity printers (clamps) and they worked quite well. But, we did have the side clamps. I'm not sure how that translates to an MPM. They were the best we could find as far as the
