Perhaps neither. I assume the part is T&R. It's flipping inside the tape before placement. I don't know how the nozzle could be doing it. There could be excess vibration on the feeder which is causing the part to flip. Just a thought.

Hello all Good morning. I just want to ask with you guys about the problem that we always experienced in our production. We could not get our target ppm due. to inverted placement of chip resistor. We are using 2000 series juki mounter and cf03hp j

Definitely feeder related - we get it all the time on those package parts. If you can, slow the tact of the feeder advance a bit (if it's on T&R). We also don't catch it at placement, but at pre-reflow visual or AOI.

Hi all, Having a major problem with an IC being placed upside down. We pick up the fault at AOI. We have check several reels and the component is not placed upside down by the supplier. Where should I start looking; 1. Are we using an incorrect fee

Are you seeing many of the components in the reject bin of the machine? If it is feeder related I would expect to see some rejects unless the part is jumping and landing in the same orientation i.e. 3 leads on same side everytime! Other than that I

200 boards/Hr and oven will reflow ~180 boards/Hr but the P&P machine will only place 700-950 CPH | | when setup is taken into account. Minimum pitch is normally .020" and we place an Avg. of 491 TSSOPs and 217 BGAs a month. | | We don't even bother

1) I think maybe not, however having said that, our conveyor does not work between the final placement machine and the oven, in the early days before I became a "experienced" operator in pulling the board out of machine running it along the track to

What kind of oscillator are you placing (Manufacturer part #)? I do not believe that oscillators fall under the "chip component" category. Even if they did, most all SMT oscillators that I have come into contact with have 1 sided terminations on the
