since IPC-J-STD-001 RevH obsoleted the 1.56ug/cm2 UCL of ionic contamination tester in testing using ROSE test, how do you define the acceptable limit per PCB assembly? thanks

If your current problem with the conveyor speed was caused by the SMEMA issue, maybe you have a Board #1 problem. The SMEMA communicates to the computer through Board #1. The input signal from the speed encoder and the output analog voltage to the

Aren't you worried about false passes? With that low of false fails, you must be only inspecting easy stuff like presence and not checking for correct parts.

I don't know about that machine but 5000 wouldn't suprise me. And make sure your targets is less than X false fails with zero false passes. I can probably get zero false fails with any machine but I"m sure a lot of defects would get past that machi

1. For laser machines, there should be setting for Z - at what level you should cut measure the part in Z axis. 2. Check all calibrations are in place and passing 3. Check resistor package setup in the software - all dimensions

| If you could measure and chart 3 variables in my process, what would they be? | The boards that I produce are on panels that are 12up and 2x4 up. All boards are single sided paper base w/o plated thru holes. They are on scored panels that measure

I sell in-line ATE/ICT systems. They are designed to identify passed or failed boards coming off the tester(s). You can do so with a 90 deg. diverter and an extra magazine loader. The ICT machine knows which has passed and which has failed, so it com
