I just started with this company and the machine is being used for a different process. I am noticing small differences in the wiring that do not appear to be original. Ex. The SMEMA is missing. There are unmarked wires. Schematics would really set m

Anyone familiar with making smema work on the ekra x5. I believe is was manufactured with a siemens (not smema)setup. We found the cables to make the siemens work but i am not sure if i can short a couple of inputs on the cable to make the smema func

Thanks. Our older oven does have a basic PC interface but no SMEMA. Maybe I can write a short program for the oven's PC to pace the boards into the oven. I could interact with the conveyor's SMEMA interface via low-cost Arduino or something similar.

When we had a line that ended at an older reflow oven without SMEMA controls, I ran a momentary switch to the two pins in the connector. I push the button and the conveyor pushed the board onto the edge-hold of the oven. As a joke I labelled it "LA

I need to connect a Universal HSP (SMPI, Upstream) with a SMEMA interfact (downstream). Can anyone give me some information about the SMPI interface? Or does anyone have a schematic of a conversion box from SMPI to SMEMA? Thank you! B.R. Andreas

Dilbert, You are both right! Just above the schematic in the Smema standard it says: "Conformance to the standard may be achieved by the appropriate design of the equipment or by providing special adaptors which enable the equipment to meet the stand

Has anyone had any experience with SANSDA? We have a board loader that was bought used with no documentation. We have tried to contact them requesting schematics or a SMEMA manual to no avail. The loader is not completing the circuit telling the d

I assume that you're dealing w/ Universal's SMPI connectors (and possibly their cables too). We've fabricated "conversion boxes" to accomplish what you're trying to do. These boxes have a female SMPI plug on one side, a female SMEMA plug on the opp
