I am looking for a nice storage rack for foil type stencils, not the frame type. Some thing compact yet easy to work with. Any directions/advice. Thanks in advance.

We have a few Bliss racks. They were made for 29x29 frames but we use them for vectorgaurd and foil. DEK ships vectorgaurd stencils in a nice, thin cardboard box. We use these boxes for storing vectorgaurd + foils. You can store a handful of foil

That is a good idea, I was able to find the big file folder before, I can't even find those now. I thought I saw one that had little sliders with hooks to hang the stencil from. Thanks for the info.

I've always assembled those style connectors by hand. They require paste on both sides, correct? With that variable, I've never considered trying to do them with paste/reflow. Cheers, ..rob

We have a smt connector on side one of our pcb that overhangs through the board to the second side. We can't figure out how to print the second side with this part sticking out. Unfortunately we cannot run the second side first due to an LGA that has

I think there are several answers: 1)Design Fail - slap whoever created it 2)Fit that connector as a manual process after the PCB is finished. 3)Print side 2 using a jet printer 4) Shield the fragile LGA and reflow it twice anyway. 5)Use a thicker PC

Leave it to the Eurolanders to come-up with a goofy, confusing name for something simple. Stepped stencils are chemical etched or laser cut. IPC-7525 provides guidelines on designing stepped stencils. Look here http://www.ipc.org/TOC/IPC-7525.pdf

Your problem is not the 0.4 pitch. Your problem is the manual cleaning. Manual cleaning will only remove the solder paste from the surface of the stencil. What's more, manual cleaning will force additional contamination into the 0.4 pitch apertures
