I have heard of "Cat5 duplex surface mounts". Do these exist? And if they do, do they have built in Cat5 jacks, or do you have to manually put snap-in jacks into them?

I am examining cut & form PTH component prep equipment to help in our manual PTH insertion process. We need the ability to process both axial & radial with snap-in and stand-off capability. Low volume with the ability to feed bulk, T&R, or Stick. Any

In line with the previous poster's comments, * BIG SMT EMI shields are tough to reflow. * SMT EMI frame and snap-in cover [after reflow] shields work fine. The SMT EMI shield design that we like the best is from Instrument Specialties, EZ Peel PCB

Hi J_Dub (Joe), Thanks for the input. Sounds like some fairly densely populated through hole assemblies. 100 solder joints per board is up to 50 parts per board (I know you may have DIP's so it could be less than 50). 24 boards in a panel x 50 par
