Once you know what your print should look like, means you have found the right apertures, stencil thickness, stencil finish and the right printer adjustments and alignments, the main things to watch for or better to control when printing is in progre

We have the very same problem.. In our next job our assemblers will be placing 2 million PTH LEDs. Fortunately we get all out LED's from the same manufacturer and hope they come in bags. If not we gotta cut them off the tape.. and well... that just m

Of course the others have great answers, try NOT to do it, for all of their reasons. However, had to do it in the past, OEM, custom chip, die wouldn't fit in a SM package, volume wouldn't support a second package type ...... and on and on. So we us

Hi ya'll!! We've got some PCB's in receiving inspection that has these little nodules in plating inside all of the barrels. These are microwave PCB's and have almost all of the surface area on both sides covered with with solid metal planes, and no

We are reflowing ceramic resonators and are finding their tops falling/popping off when handling the pcbs during final assy. The epoxy seems to be coming off the components base and adherring to the lid. The components are "RFM resonators", case type

Dougie, If you have square, rectangular etc; shaped PCB's maybe you could have routing between circuits. "V" shaped grooves top and bottom. I found this extremely good especially if the assemblies are wave soldered. No gaps for flowing up and over.
