Print your paste onto a ceramic tile, place the offending component onto it and send through the reflow oven; then observe the results. You will soon see if the component is solderable!

So you are saying that, for a CHIP wave (not the smooth, laminar wave), but the CHIP wave, your expectation is to see "smooth" solder, and not ripply, turbulent solder. This is what you're saying, correct?

Try Seho http://www.seho.de/index.php?id=2〈=en . At one time they had a machine that ran at near 0% oxygen (all nitrogen)that would solder without flux.

Hi If I have an assembly where the solder joints are suffering from blowholes and Pinholes. Could these solderjoints be reworked/touched up to form a reliable/acceptable solderjoints ?

Does anybody use a paste mixer in their shop? I am looking at one that uses "Psuedo-Planetary Motion" to mix and soften solder paste. If someone answers "yes", has this benefitted your paste consistency and improved your print repeatability?

Hi Guys Could you give me the standard criteria that is being followed for solder ball in PCBA. I am aware that we have an IPC standard but still that is generic in nature. I need a one that is applicable for automotive industry.
