Hi Dave, I haven't tried the Probimer yet, but the Taiyo ink didn't hold up too well. As a PCB fabricator, finding a white soldermask that has good trace coverage and survives 4X solder immersion (HASL) is like the holy grail of white soldermask.

I've reflowed many different size BGA's in an effort to better the connection and to help the board pass functional test. Using a middle of the road liquid flux and a convection spot rework machine and almost every time I would reflow a failed board

I've never lost memory in a BGA from heat removal. However we can create a profile on our BGA rework stations to remove using bottom heat only. This exposes the BGA body to temperatures of around 190 to 200C. I have a colleague that has a machine

| We are just starting to manufacture a PCB with a .039" fine-line PBGA. We are currently seeing voids, mainly in the center, that are as much as 45%. We also intermittently see the corner balls of the PBGA smaller than the center balls. We are using

Sorry, not much help for me there. More information would be helpful. For instance: * Talk about the distribution of the problem, including a single lot or from various lots and over components and component types on the board * Tell us about the boa
