Can anyone recommend ways of reducing damage to solder masks ... a new wick perhaps. I find that using standard wicks the imposed damage is un-acceptable. Also any good links on the subject of bga rework would be really appreciated in earnest ...

Good Day Everyone, I have a BGA rework that has some chipped/damaged solder mask that will need to be repaired prior to BGA replacement. I was wondering what materials are being used in the industry for this type of application. Any help would be g

Hello all, Has anyone used Kester 2331-ZX water soluble flux on selective soldering and expirienced a white film after soldering. I have seen this on and off for a few weeks now and believe it is a chemical reaction with the solder mask or improperly

Hello, We have designed a 160ball bga substrate. Now we want to use the same substrate for the 145ball version of the product. All are the same, the package size, ball pitch, solder ball size only the number of balls will change. We will use a new s
