Do you know why my solder paste sticks to the squeegee so much that it mis-prints and how can I prevent it from happening. I can only get about 3/4 prints before this happens.

Hi, Check to make sure your paste is not dried up, and it should roll across the stencil, not slide. Also, if your running in a cold environment, then that can stiffen up the paste, and it will still to the blades, and not roll over the stencil corr

What size paste roll do you have on your stencil? It should be about 1/2" in diameter. What type of paste are you using? I have found that certain Mfgrs have this problem with some of their formulations. What typoe of printer and what is your squ

We also had issues with paste sticking on our Trans Automation printer and switched to the Permalex blades. That made the biggest difference with release. They are a little pricey but it was worth it.

Humidity level can play into this as well. Good blades will help the process. We use permalex blades from Transition Automation and we love them. YMMV

Just how cold do you store your paste? And what are your solder paste reps like? Here they fall over each other giving support for their paste. And have you seen the problem with flux separation or have you only heard about it?

How do people prepare there solder paste for screen print? We currently remove them from the fridge and mix them in a 500g solder paste tub mixer to mix the flux and paste together we waste to much paste at the moment as we only use the tub for 1
