Squeegee speed for Sn/Pb

Hi, I`m using Sn633-2T-E solder paste that is specially formulated for fine pitch where 12mil pitch is applicable.I have the data sheet of this paste but the squeegee speed is not defined. What is the expected speed for solder paste printing process?

Update - Solved On talking with BTU they mentioned that if the conveyor is always running full speed then cleaning out the motor brush area with compressed air will cure it. I'm guessing that the carbon dust had encroached onto the encoder. A good b

I wouldn't expect them to define squeegee speeds any more than they would tell me which printer, squeegee blade, or surface metallization to use. Start at 1"/sec. and see what it looks like. Try 2"/sec and .5"/sec. and see if they're any worse or b

Squeege speeds can vary from .5 in/min to 6-8 in/min. It really depends on what the prints look like. For ultra fine pitch I usually start at .8 in/min and take it from there.

Yes, you can. However, if you go above designed, limits you might either break something or it won't operate as you expect. There are settings for each servo loop on the machine and you can play with acceleration, speeds etc. Not sure that it's smart
