Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the sigmapro software on these machines to a newer version? We are running version 6.35.19 and it just really sucks. Is it possible to go up to say version 7 without upgrading any hardware on the machine?

how funny... we just bought a up1500, no manuals/install cd, and we need to do the same thing. i was hoping that by removing /sigpro/user.pwl and /sigpro/permis.lst, and all references to them in sigpro.ini and sig1500.ini it'd let me in, but no luc

Yes, you need to run the 'offsets' calibration to correct the offset issue. If the machine is in good working order and all of the other alignments and cal's are completed then you are good shape to go to run this cal. If not, you could waste a few
