Hello, its simple the Panasonic tape is encoded, the non original splice tape you try to replace is not coded hence error on feeder sensor. we offer Panasonic replacement splice tape, for a sample please contact the office, hope this helps Robi SmtXt

You have to make sure the tape is covering the holes, this is where the sensor reads the tape.
