Vitronics registration for support?

Electronics Forum | Wed Aug 31 14:32:12 EDT 2011 | cbeneat

We run 3 XPM2's. All were new so under warranty, but I've found the support to be excellent over the years. They have moved their operation to MO recently, time will tell if this is an issue. The only maintenance issue I've run into is on our oldest

Heller MK3 edge chain maintenance

Electronics Forum | Fri Feb 14 14:09:06 EST 2014 | marcpeo

In general the chains don't need to be heated to 400 deg C for cleaning. In other words, most of the fluxes and constituents in the paste don't collect on the chain and gum it up. Bottom line: the heat treatment is not needed for 95% of the users.

Dear experts, We are in stage to fix lapse or hold time between pre-bake to reflow process ( SMT ) for flex-rigid PCB, usually for flex pcb , we need to assemble as early as possible once after baking & if not , we can store in humidifier up to some

Single Pass vs Double Pass SMT production line

Electronics Forum | Wed Dec 08 20:00:56 EST 2021 | scotceltic

Throughout the years in SMT PCBA production I have seen OEM's and contract houses move away from a Double-Sided PCBA Line setup. Ex Single pass for bottom-side and then straight into duplicate equipment for top-side. The norm these days seems to be

DEK 03! CAN Node Rising Table Error

Electronics Forum | Thu Dec 22 17:59:39 EST 2022 | emanuel

Thanks Jeff, Yes, I will be glad to know which parts you replaced, at least it will give me an idea where to start looking. I also have a feeling that being the first node, the BGE9010C if not working properly may distort the CAN Bus signal. I even t

Hi DaveF, Thanks a Good to Great approach. I would still recommend getting another one, just in case. I am never too sure about how anyone follows procedures and maybe the start up just won't go well for some reason and you don't want to piddle a

Wave Soldering Upflow

Electronics Forum | Tue Aug 05 18:02:05 EDT 2003 | MikeF

Check the areas that are getting solder on the top side. If you have internal ground planes, and the ground plane pth's are not getting solder on top, and signal pth's are, it's a heat problem. If the ground planes are in the middle of the board yo

How many times can a component go through reflow oven?

Electronics Forum | Tue Aug 18 17:49:16 EDT 2009 | dyoungquist

Is there a limit to how many times a pcb with components can be run through a reflow oven before the components start to degrade? Example: We load the SMT components on the bottom side of the pcb and run it through the reflow oven. Next we load the

Wave solder: Vitronics-Soltec vs. Electrovert

Electronics Forum | Wed Aug 18 00:41:15 EDT 2004 | Grant

Hi, We have the Soltec Delta C. It works well, and is very stable. I think the software is a bit simplistic, but it keeps the wave stable, so that's the main thing. It's the timer on the software that I find annoying. It has a warm up time, and yo
