Screen Printer Adapters

We use QTS and Vectour guard. I would prefer Vectourguard - it is very siple to set it up. However, you have to check the tension of the stencil everyday. I wouldn't trust them as 29 inch hard frame. It is always a metter of quantities. If you deal w

Can UP 2000 printer work with R and L justified stencils?

Electronics Forum | Tue Aug 01 19:52:19 EDT 2006 | darby

If your frame size is 730mm x 730mm then you can't move it left or right. If it smaller than that then the frame adapter will give you more leeway. I am not too sure by what you mean by "If I had a 6" board, and a stencil with cut-outs for both side

UP1500 Frame Sizes?

I completely agree with the both of you, and mgmt. has decided to go that way. Cost, I pleaded, is negligible when compared to the addtl. work/headache of working with an additional adapter. Let me drag this further off-topic if I might...I've read

Re: Quick Frame and Dek 265GS

Electronics Forum | Wed May 20 10:00:00 EDT 1998 | EFData

The quick frame does work well with the DEK 265, but we feel that tensioning is user dependent and introduces variation into the process on an operator to operator basis. Also, because tensioning occurs only on two sides (instead of four) this also i

IPC-7525 "Stencil Design Guidelines" is a good reference document to have. Here are notes from a Tessera, (a major mBGA mfg.), study- "Application Note Solder Stencil Requirement for mBGA" The stencil aperture is to be square, equal in size to the l

A couple of points: * Just a nit, 'screens' fell in disuse 10-15 years ago. Old habits die slowly don't they? * Yes, DEK and MPM each hold about 50% of the solder paste printer market and about 4 or 5 others hold the rest. SOLDER PASTE PRINTER EQUI

| Has anybody successfully used an automated dispensing system to put solder paste dots on .5 mm pitch pads?? I need to replace some Meritec tsop sockets and I don't want to use the single site stencils for .5 mm parts. | Carol, Don't blame you f

Re: Two AP-20 questions

| After lots of years with Panasert machines, I am starting to need to learn again. | 1. For the AP-20 can you retrofit 3D vision? Would you bother? | 2. Also for the AP, can you use 20x20 DEK screens with an adapter? | | Thanks to all you MPM expe

Re: Stencils Universal?

Electronics Forum | Tue Mar 16 14:37:42 EST 1999 | Steve Gregory

Hi Nancy! Just as Steve and Dean said, most printers have some sort of restrictions of what frame, where the image is positioned, ect. before the stencil will work in the printer. The two manufacturers that I'm most familiar with DEK and MPM do have

Re: Soldermask Design Rules

Electronics Forum | Fri Jun 16 06:24:43 EDT 2000 | Wolfgang Busko

Hi Todd, it might be a philosophical question if soldermask between finepitch pads is prefered or not. That should depend on the capabilities of a particular site and their experience. We actually prefer soldermask down to 0,4mm pitch and dont have
