I agree with stand-alone as well. We're a CM and have three AOI's, we keep them all stand-alone. We use them for paste inspection, first articles off SMT equipment, QC articles from SMT, hand assembly QC, TH first article and TH QC. We treat AOI as

Both Cyberoptics inline (Cyber Sentry) and stand alone (LSM, LSM2 & LSM300) work well. As previously mentioned, the Sentry series inline systems work well, but reqiuire programming. The LSM series stand alone systems are good, but can be operator dep

There are different options for de-paneling routers. There are two basic types, in-line and stand-alone. Do you need in-line for high volume? The stand-alone systems have manual insertion trays, one or two trays. Also, after de-paneling or laser ma

We looked at the 5DX as well, but it was way too cost prohibitive at the time and ended up purchasing the Yestech stand alone x-ray system. At the time Yestech did not have a comparable system to the 5DX, but I understand they do now. With Agilent

Kevin, The Technical Devices Machine, the EVS is a stand alone system that can reclaim up to 75% of the dross weight as usable solder. It has a much more proven history than the Electrovert add on, as well as being lower priced. The Technical Devi
