PCB Depaneling Router

Electronics Forum | Mon Mar 03 23:39:04 EST 2008 | gdzuber

There are different options for de-paneling routers. There are two basic types, in-line and stand-alone. Do you need in-line for high volume? The stand-alone systems have manual insertion trays, one or two trays. Also, after de-paneling or laser ma

I agree with the stand alone option. That way you can sample PCB's from different stages ( print, placement post reflow) In a controled process, after reflow inspection would be ideal.

I would like to know if anyone out there is using a stand alone Board labeling equipment and what type.

Intelliplace and Europlacer

We are in the process of assessing some medium volume, stand alone SMT Placement systems. Does anyone have any experience with :- 1) Europlacer (Specifically the Progress 6 or EP600) 2) Intelliplace (DHM-120 or SHM-120) I have searched the forum bu

Agilent 5DX

Electronics Forum | Mon Feb 09 15:24:45 EST 2009 | devgru

We looked at the 5DX as well, but it was way too cost prohibitive at the time and ended up purchasing the Yestech stand alone x-ray system. At the time Yestech did not have a comparable system to the 5DX, but I understand they do now. With Agilent

Solder reclamation

Kevin, The Technical Devices Machine, the EVS is a stand alone system that can reclaim up to 75% of the dross weight as usable solder. It has a much more proven history than the Electrovert add on, as well as being lower priced. The Technical Devi

Or leave it stand alone. Granted, you may not be able to inspect 100%, but you can inspect before relow, after relow (if your AOI does solder joint inspection), inspect before wave and afterwards if needed. Now how did you justify a peice of equi

Thanks Howard, I understand that it's excellent everywhere but the only thing with Stand-alone is how do you manage your production path if everything pass thru AOI? We produce a lot of PCB per year and as soon as a PCB break the standard path, it'

Which AOI /SPI System is the Best? Viscom S3088; Koh Young 8030 or Parmi Xceed

I agree with 3DAOI.com, in that you should be looking at Cyberoptics. They have a great product if you MUST have both of these processes in line, and if you must have 3D AOI. If you are willing to go offline, and want to get both AOI and SPI in one
