PCB & MSD Component baking oven

Electronics Forum | Fri Dec 03 04:11:47 EST 2010 | grahamcooper22

A baking oven over 100 C will be at zero humidity. Do you really need to store pcbs/devices at 200 C...this will surely harm some products ? IPC 33B01 allows storage of MSDs in a dry cabinet at less then 5%.....these can operate at room temp or 40 /

Anti Magnetic Environment

a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. we had a requirement for a specific part. We stored it in a room in a plastic container on a wooden shelf and had to rent a Gauss meter and walk around and take measurements to prove that it was anti magnetic

Storing OSP PCBs

OSP is water based so guessing more involved is evaporation and dilution from humidity. From memory this may have been something to do with loosely bound electrons to the nitrogen atoms that could be easily freed up compromising the coating, but I

We used to empty the tank on Friday and let the stone basically dry out over the weekend. That was before I got involved with it. We were constantly replacing stones. Now, we empty the flux Monday morning and replenish with new. That way the stone

Handling/storing SMT leftover parts - cut strips

I agree with Scott. When not in use we store the squeegee blades in the original plastic shipping containers. Keeping them in the containers also gives you something to label the sqeegees with as to different pitches or lenghts and different machine
