| Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it seems to me that The Forum takes a lot longer to open up now. It also takes a lot longer to get back to the main Forum page, after reading an individual message, and hitting the "BACK" button. What's up? Is

Rheopump vs. squeegee

Electronics Forum | Thu Jun 14 11:43:52 EDT 2001 | gsmguru

Change times for the Rheo pump are probably a little slower than just swapping blades. You have to hook up the sensors & air lines, remove the bottom cover + charge the pump to get it to operating pressure before you can print. I would guess that if y

To be more specific we have a single Contact 3AV that can run the board in question in 5 minutes from placing the board into the machine till the time it comes out. Volume is expected to be low initially but expected to pick up. It just doesn't fe

Re: Re-Useable Stencil Frames

Hi Dave I have used the IIT proframe II (I believe the proframe I used four sided tensioning, was somewhat inconvenient to set up and is obsolete) for about six months. I don't have any complaints of note and I do use it to 20 mil. It does take som

FYI, Chunk is right about the blade detents if you have the Pro-head. If you don't have that head, you will not need them. If you mount your blades using thumb screws, you can stop looking for the detents!! Ours ran very well, keep it CLEAN. We used

Paste-in-Hole reflow soldering

Electronics Forum | Wed Aug 09 12:22:11 EDT 2006 | Rob

You are going to struggle with that sort of connector - the only pin headers that seem to have widespread sucess are the dual inline ones with bent over j leads that sit on the board. They come with a plastic hat that allows vacuum pick up. However

I'm thinking that your soldering irons are not up to the task. take a tip temperature measurement of the iron prior to and during soldering process. With high temp solder alloys you need an iron that provides continuous temperature at the tip. Doing

Re: Question on Grounding Resistor

Electronics Forum | Wed May 24 11:07:24 EDT 2000 | Travis Slaughter

Use a low wattage resistor. It doesnt take much to dissipate static electricity, but in a emergency hopefully the resistor could act like a fuse, burn up and go open before anyone gets zapped too bad.
