Whether could we add some heating or cooling modules to the 8 zone reflow oven and convert the 8 zone to 12 zone or more?I 've never heard of anybody successfully done this.I think, this way, we could get more cost down. What's your opinions? Thanks®a

I've never heard of anyone doing this. Even if it were possible I can't believe it would be cost effective. If you absolutely need a 12 zone oven your best bet is to try and be a used/refurbed one if you can't afford a new one.

Kelly, it's been a long while since I repaired a BRAVO. The machine was a little unique as far as Electrovert ovens go. I am pretty sure that it is the only Speedline model that integrated a PLC. Loved the OMNI's, not so much with the Bravos. I a

I would highly recomend an 8 zones (top and bottom heaters) oven as it has better flexibility than 7 zones. However, I would also would like to check for the heated length. Some oven has many zones but the heated length is small. Arman

From an operators stand point there really is no difference. I think what I work with now is a 7 zone and I have worked with 8 and 5 zone BTU ovens. The only difference I can really tell is on the 8 zone oven we had less bridging at the end. If you r
