How well should the fiducial be centered in the teach mode? Consider that you see the fiducial with probably 40 times magnification on the monitor. If you see the cross-hair a bit off center, then this is most likely just by a few hundreds of a milli

JD, fiducials are merely land marks. The vision processor will measure the actual location and compare it to the CAD location. It does not care if the design is symetrical, asymetrical or what. In the case of a single center design fiducial (which

You didn't state if you are using all CAD data or not. If you are not using any CAD data then all bets are off. If you global fid XY data and all your placement XY data are all from CAD data, but you are manually teaching your local fids, then they

My steps are different in that case: 1- Check mounts. Try to adjust origin point until get the pretty good mount positions. 2- Teach fiducials ( Board fids, not panel fids) 3- Use fids, check mount again. 4- If OK, then teach Block Repeat. This alwas

Hello, I need an advice regarding the next issue: in the case of Assembleon Topaz or Emerald SMT machines, is there necessary to teach first the block repeat coordinates and after that the PCB fiducial coordinates when you do not have these coordina

this is the order that I use. 1. Teach pcb origin 2. Teach fiducial location 3. dial in vision on fid in mark info. 4. go into mount and verify that the primary image is on in x/y (after perfoming a teach trace condition) and then do any offsetts if

I don't think that there is an industry standard on that. Each machine manufacturer will have to say what they mean. I think the first option looks at what you taught and then looks at what it sees when looking for the fiducial. The other method sou

Seems to be quad c-series week......anyways.... 1. What version ap and central controller? 2. What version of windows? 3. What size are your vision models? 4. What options are selected in teach fiducials......globabl fiducial correction, multi fiduci

I do not recall that "TEACH" ever worked. Even if it did, there is no way to save this data to the MCS. After you see that a fiducial cannot be found, change Xa-Ya in the program at the MCS to find it, and of course, re-transmit. Good Luck
