Kapton tape is heat resistant to tempratures accociated with wave solder process. If your process is not no clean then masking compound will work.

RH changes with temprature. That's why your winshield de-fogs when your defroster is on.

Dear All, What is the best temprature for the rework of the leadfree components for 0402, 0603, and bigger components?

Hi The temprature for the first zone should be more as the PCB entering the oven from the ambient shop floor temprature needs a higher temp.Next zone could be lower than the first zone. The ramp is a relation of conveyor speed and the temp profile.T

The bottom side is going into reflow somewhare near melting point of solder. Reduce bottom side temprature. Get a good mole so ramp and soak tempratures can be checked on bolth sides of the PCB. The object is to keep bottom side parts from approching

The temprature for the first zone should be less as the PCB entering the oven from the ambient shop floor temprature would suffer a thermal shock from a higher temp. Experience must be gained from profiling a board with thermocouples, otherwise you

Measured the pot temprature independantly from the software (268C/514F from moving wave). We are using Dross Inhibiter Tin/P Regenerator from BLT. Monthly sample checks are carried out on the solder bath and are all within limits. It will be hard to

Just a thought, Solder flows to leads of parts and will tend to flow to hotest point. Im not shure but top side temprature might be hotter than bottom side. wouldent this cause solder to pull further up lead after leaving wave.

Can someone help me to advise the best profile for a board with the combination of both Lead Free and Non-Leaded part?If possible, pls advise the best preheat and reflow time and temprature.

Thanx for your only reply!! I already increased temprature now its actualy on board is 240*c. I would like to discuss one more thing if I go for lead free solder paste & using some components wich are not lead free then what will be the result. Has a
