Are there any softwares OR functions inside of the softwares that allow a designer that is creating a very large complicated wiring diagram with say....many terminal blocks and connectors etc... to run a point to point check on his drawing? Bascially

Doh! but any other 14A+ pluggable terminal block would fit in it's place (compliance permitting), you'd just need to unscrew the cables in the mating half, and change that to the new type on the board.

Don't know a thermal couple that will meet your "+/- 1 degree C in a 700 degree C" requirement. Look here: http://www.pentronic.se/eng/teori/termoel/termo9.asp Anyhow, have you considered screwing the leads to a terminal block?

Jon, All is lost and now with feedback errors, "Just a parts machine now. I'm certain it's just contact points "terminal blocks" but it's just not going to be a trust worthy machine. You help and time are appreciated. Bruce

I agree with AFlex. Don't tin stranded wire that's assembled into a screw terminal block. I believe the reasoning has to do with avoiding stress on the wire metal caused by different expansion rates of the solder and the wire. BR davef

While it's possible, we don't think that soldering a wire of this low of an AWG to a board is a good idea. We're concerned that mechanical vibration and heating / cooling will stress the solder connection to the point of failure during routine table
