I would start by replacing the Z axis motor for head #4, you previously mentioned there was also a theta axis issue with head #4, you might be best served to replace both motors. These motors do go bad from time to time, We have 28 Juki machines wher

Theta error came back again during our first production run. Swaped motcards as a final attempt to find an easy fix and nothing. I swapped heads with another MYDATA to positively isolate the problem. And the theta error followed the head.

I'm trying to visualize how that machine is laid out. Do they all rotate together, on a belt, so that there's only one sensor for the theta (R) home position?

I'll try swaping cards and see if the problem follows the card. So far, my guess would be the motor going bad. I did change the brushes, X wagon cables and every cable that goes to the midas unit. But that didn't fix it. The problem is that to replac

I would check the following: 1. Make sure the head can move in all axis including z and theta by physically moving each. 2. Check the voltage from the main power supply which is located in the middle of the machine on the top of the main board asse

Our GSM1 with Flex2 heads started to generate occasional error message: "Axis head 1 theta positive lead error during move absolute command" and then stop. After palm-down it runs again for some time. Everything looks fine, so I have no idea where

When you teach the "teach boardstop Y" make sure the camera is seeing the leading edge of the board and not too close to the rails. It should calculate the pre-stop position correctly. I assume you have thoroughly checked the sensor. Also check th

OK, here we are: 1. OS is OS&2 2. Sw. is USOS V1.14 3. GSM1 4. 2 Flex2 heads 5. Problem is on the front head 6. No 7. No 8. It just stops in the middle of the placement phase, with the head over PCB area. Usually 2 parts are still held on the nozz

I don't have CircuitCam, I'm using Unicam with Mydata. In Unicam I have a Theta Offset setting for each package witch determines the default rotational angle with respect to the pin 1 setting within the package data. With Mydata, the package inform

Hello, Finaly, What was the problem on your Hydra head? Maybe my message comes too late, but my answer might help ... It could be linked to a problem with the Hydra Z motor / encoder. In certain circumstances, the Hydra Z axis is not in the correct
