Yes, we did it with both the monitors (camera & normal). Used a BNC to VGA adaptor for the black & white camera.

I have a single-view camera on a Topaz-X machine. When I define a connector type element - it displays messages like in attached files. If I change the type to IC - no problem. There is also no problem when "learning&quot

I suspect configuration too. From memory, only certain heads are assignable as 'Fine'. Changing this parameter in the component data to Standard or QFP will most likely cure this as any head will accept those two options

It turned out that only SF heads support "fine" mode, while FNC does not. Probably because above the FNC nozzle there is a "circle" rotating the nozzles, and in fine mode it can interfere with the reflection of the camera light - the element is lower

I was told by Assembleon that a Topaz can not be fitted with a 54mm camera. Only the 45mm. The Emerald? or whatever the 4 spindle machine is called, is the only one with a 54MM camera. Is this not true? I am talking used Topaz, 1997 to 2000 models. P

Hi! Try to make "R_AXIS_ACCURACY" calibration for all of FNC heads for back camera only. I met such problem on Topaz-X. There was clearly seen offset on 0.8mm pitch components. I simply calibrated all cameras for FNC nozzles and problem disappeared.

not to be anoying....but a topaz can be configured with a 54mm camera an when using the 20 micron head 1 spline. It will place accuratly to +/-0.02mm Imagine 1 machine that works from 0402 to 54mm square! Now that's flexible.

Mladen, I am in contract manufacturing using the regular Philips Topaz. I started with one now I have four, if market ramps up will be getting more. The Topaz regular can place 0201,BCC,BGA's,Micro BGA's and others depending on the configuration of
