Hi, I encountered a problem with pbga. One edge either warp downwards or upwards creating bridging or open. This pbga have fr4 at the bottom (compound molding at the top). The fr4 is bigger than the top compound by 3mm at each edge. Pls help. Than

BGA on both Top and Bottom

Reflow temperature setting

Hi, Is there any special temperature setting for example , bottom temp should be lower than top temp to prevent component drop. Or any information that can help to prevent component from drop off during reflow of top side.

Try using the loctite(glue) during the top side process. Other way is to separate bigger component IC on the last process (top side).

You need a machine with side clamps. DEK makes them. MPM makes them. Look into a retro for your machine. Both take up space on top of your board. Be carefull of top side component clerance if switching.

UP2000 with grid-lok question

Shouldn't the top of the board be at the exact same height as the top of the side clamps? Why are the clamps holding the stencil up off the board?
