Z-force sensor is a tool travel indicator. It has nothing to do with Z travel. Does the Midas head move at all, during initiation? It sounds to me like a Z motor/encoder problem. Is the Midas head ribbon cable plugged in?

We have two QUAD 4C working in tandem. 3 months ago the EPCU battery (QUAD # 2) died, then we change it. Then downloaded the MODs from the controller to the assembler(does simultaneously on both machines). All this time we continue to work normally.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. This machine actually doesnt have such a button. It can home itself, but it tries to through the whole process, and stops when trying to find Z6 zero point.
