Our customer has requested that we cut traces and add fly wires alot. What we use now is an exacto knife and a soldering iron to take off the trace. This works but does not look good and is not very efficient. Does anybody know of a tool to cut trace

I have a trace about 0.060' wide and I need to place a chip resister on it. * What is the best tool to use to cut the trace without slipping and scratching other traces or masking around it? I have used X-Acto #11,#16,#24 blades without success.

| Can anyone in this world produce such small PCB/PWB trace widths? Lots of theory so far, but have not found anyone yet who can do it in practice. | Dan, I have seen boards with 3 mil pitch (that is 1.5 mil trace and 1.5 mil spacing) in quantity

Some people put spark gaps on the PCB it a trace that comes to a point that's exposed from the circuit you are trying to protect to a trace that comes to a point from the ground trace. The 2 points are about .005 inches apart. When the charge hits th

the tarnishing is happening across all the traces without solder even being applied. The PCB is soldered into the housing first. Once this is complete the traces have changed, and when it is time to solder the components to the traces this tarnishing
