| Looking for advise on placing 56 pin TSOP from tape and reel. Been told that placing TSOP's greater than 32 pin from tape and reel can cause significant reliability problems. True? False? Comments? Any reference literature available? | | Hi

I did see the Amistar at NEPCON Texas and it appears to be a fine machine. The multi-heads and vision-on-the-fly is nice. Feeder capacity seems to be a concern, though. Ibelieve it holds 120 8mm feeders and if you purchase a tray sequencer, it takes

bulk feeding chips

We have some high runners (components) that are available in bulk and some that are not. It would only help part of the issue. Cost was only a marginal difference, and we were told by the supplier that it was because bulk just hasn't caught on like

A couple of thoughts, 1. buy larger quantity reels and load more trays of the same P/N if your problem is replenishing the machine. 2. If you're talking about changeover I would suggest that the feeders be set up in the kitting process and deliverd

SRT 1000, WHAT ELSE?

For Dean and the rest of you interested, I have reconciled many of my thermal issues with this machine and its peculiarities. The bottom side heater seems adequate, at 750 watts (not going to spend 10 grand extra for 500 more watts no matter what) a

Thanks for all the responses. I do agree with what was said, and can certainly see reasons not to try. I'll write a little more about what we do. We are a defense contractor, and as I mentioned very high mix, low volume. We only have 1 SMT line.
