A CP IV-3 is able to place 0402's very well. We do it all of the time with a CP IV-2. You need the right nozzles and feeders but no problem. I agree the ProSMT software is a pain but that's not the machine's fault. Jerry

You might try checking to see if the float switches are actually lifting up with the water level, I have seen them get stuck in the open position. Also check to see that the solenoid valve is actually sealing off (closed)

Have you checked each heater rod with a fluke temp. meter or similar to make sure that the elements are in fact heating up? Make sure you have voltage to all heater rods. Check to see what the plc controller is set at. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you have a bad heater. Check current on each leg of the heater circuit, CON6 for the wash and CON7 for the rinse. The current should be the same on each leg. Trek is now part of Stoelting, tech support is 920-894-2293. Hope this helps if
