A lot of these are cut tape (I think nearly all of them)....and they're all on electric feeders.. hmm.....where can I find that reel empty sensor? That would certainly explain a lot! thanks, ..rob

That is a Hover Davis feeder. We use them on our Fuji IP3s and a Universal GSM, they work great. Check them out at http://www.hoverdavis.com/

I thought I saw that there is a retro kit required to supply the proper power to the multi pitch feeders from older machines. Check the Universal web site for info on the multi pitch I think that is where I read about it...

If you call up Universal tech support at 1-800-842-9732, any of those guys or gal would email you the schematics to the MPUP feeder setup station.

We had occasional problems and usually solve it by pulling out pogo pins slightly to extend them a bit... Also note that electric feeders have "reel empty" sensor that gives the same error message (if you are using cut tape strips without reel)
