Hi, Can anyone give me it's definition of PCB separation V-cut (dimensions): 1. V-cut Angle. 2. Depth of V-cut penetration into the PCB. Thanks Roni

To prevent cracking SMD components near the edge of PCB you should use guillotine for V-cut groove. Other solution is redesign panel of PCBs and in critical areas you should mill along the outline instead of V-cut, but if you choose this way probabl

I would too recommend JK860, both V-cut and #-Cut supported, let me know if you need details or an offer.

Hi Roni Point yourself toward www.accusystemscorp.com and you'll get what you need. There is much info in this forum's archive as well. Happy hunting John Thorup

dear all, we prepare ourself to assembly IMS board The PCB design with V cut How to depanelisy it? With scoring machine or manual breaking? Any experience Thanks Gbor

Boardhouse, would it be possible to attach a picture of such a routed slot together with a V cut? I was always told the 2 don't work together that well because of tolerances.

We are running mainly aluminum boards and lots of them are not square shaped. You can panelize any shape board, you need just add little routing to your panel design. I attached one picture with panelization example (routing and V-cut mixed).

Hello, I would like to ask you about the minimal distance between components and border of pcb especially V-cut to avoid crack of component during depaneling? I need some standard (IPC or something) where is this defined? Thank you for your support

V-cut pads partially(wide angle) so they become slotted in a way. leave paste as is. I would place slot under coil but there is a trace if Im not wrong

if use tray cannot solve the problem, you can change from the design 1)Reduce the effect of temperature on PCB 2) PCB USE HIGH TG 3) BOARD THICKNESS TOO THIN 4) MODIFY THE BOARD SIZE 5) Reduce the V-CUT depth.
