Hello, We have FCM base 2 machine (Philips-Assembelon). I am trying to find out whether it is possible to install instead vacuum pump (make noise and power consumption) venturi system. Does anyone try to do this.? What was the result.? What vent

We are trying to eliminate/minimize the baking process for high lead-count ICs. We would like to reseal packages containing these parts to minimize exposure to humidity. Anyone have or know of a way to reseal or vacuum pack parts? Any suggested eq

We emailed off forum about this...and I'm wondering how things are progressing. As I noted in email, our issue was the nozzle change was resulting in too many nozzles being out of the same vacuum channel on the tool box. I can't remember how it was

1.- Check your vacuum a.- Check filters b.- Check air flow (the vacuum is generated by a Ventury using air flow, not air pressure) c.- Vaccum vias (Possible linth inside the vacuum lines) 2.- Check the nozzle condition (Probably broken o

What you describe is the X snuggers fitted into the workholder which do need either a flat board or good vacuum to work. There are several solutions. One solution you can try yourself is to use Vacuum cups, ( bellows type) designed into the workholde

It'll just transfer the load to your compressor, and who knows how efficient your venturi pump (which can also be noisy) will be (IOW, how much load it puts on your compressor is anyone's guess)? I'd just replace or rebuild the vacuum pump, person

Has anyone ever replaced the venturi vaccum pump on the CP45 or other series machine? Or used a centralized vaccum system? It works fine, but air consumption seems excessive. This is what is in there, it probably uses 10cfm at least. https://www.p

Hi Mefunak, I'd say that the vacuum holding circuit is at fault. If the component is picked OK from the feeder ('vacuum check after pickup' is switched on) then the component is being dropped from the head as the gantry moves to the placement positi

I am looking into Vapor Phase with Vacuum and Inline Reflow with Vacuum (besides Heller I believe a German company SMT has something comparable). There are a couple of companies I found that make vacuum ovens for soldering of hybrid microelectronics
