i tried scrubbing the boards with xylene when they are hot from the bake, the the pockmarking seems to have almost disappeared! Amol

Yes, I've used the muffin tins. I drained a solder drag pot. Steve makes a good point about the drain valve. When I drain my pot, I will be scooping out the solder and filling my tins.

Sure, using the drain for the last portion, that's difficult to ladle-out, is fine. Be aware that the drain may not be as easy to close as you'd like.

Just be prepared! Once you open the drain you may not be able to stop the flow. Be sure that you get as much as possible out then have several pans empty and near by. On some pots it will look like there is very little left but you don't see it a

Should be another thread but oh well, Marcus can you advise on the "process considerations" you speak of? I thought that the SN100C was a "drop in". I have a rep for this stuff coming to see me soon and your input if possible may be valuable.
