Reflow Oven Brand

We have 6 Vitronics Soltec ovens. 4 XPM 820's, an XPM 1240, and an XPM3. All of them are great, but we're very impressed with the XPM3, you can't go wrong.

Oven for lead free...???

I would look at Vitronics-Soltec such as the XPM 820 or even the 520. BTU also makes very nice ovens. The Hellers I used to use went through blowers every 6 mos. and both of them came it defective. You must have got lucky or I got unlucky. Russ

Reflow 2nd side on Vitronics Soltec XPM

Do I need to lower temperature of bottom zone (for common size parts) while reflow 2nd side of the board or I should be using same profile as I used for 1st side reflow? Will parts on bottom side will stay in place without changing temperature?

Newb needs to bake some chips help.....

OK I have read though all the treads and learned more. One more question if someone can answer it. Can I do this myself on site? We have a Vitronics Soltec XPM820 Reflow Oven. Or do I need a super special oven for component baking.. Thanks max
