If you are not getting repeatable transducer readings then some possiblities are : 1. Transducer is bad 2. Motor is bad 3. Y power booster Also, I can't remember if the Y motor has a flex coupling on it or not. If it does, check that out. Also, w

We grease acording to PM schedule. The cable is very old about 5 years. We run 2 shifts. The transducer program and burnin test show the varance that we are seeing phisically so I can rule out the transducer. The motor may be the cause as it is of 19

We have a MyData TP-9-2 with a in line Y wagon. It is a long screw and the vintage is 1994. The Y wagon vibrates at about 24 micrometers at about 25 hertz. Burnin reviels zero encoder pulse errors. Hystersis test indicates a Y axis Y wise varance of

Hey All. I figured it out. It turns out that the problem was simply a loose coupler on the x wagon motor transducer. I had only checked one screw in the past but the other screw was apparently loose as well.

We are seeing intermittent X-transducer errors. I notice that the X-wagon has more resistance over the Y-wagon area when I manually push it back and fourth. I am thinking the belt might need replaced. Has anyone else seen this before.

There are 2-X motors and numerous items that could be causing this: 1 of the X motors, 1 of the X transducers, 1 of the couplings connecting the motor and transducer, X Kevlar Belt. If you know how to go into the service portion of the software you

That depends on what service screen you are using there are 2 of them. One is the exit to service under your exit prompt. The other is an extended version of the service program and you have to exit tpsys under the exit prompt and type in service -x w

Replace both of the big X-wagon ribbon cables to start with. You always have to rule those out before looking at anything else.

I had the same problem back in March with my MY12, since I have two identical lines i swapped things around until swapping the x-wagon motor (the one for fine movements). When I swapped the x-motor I move the problem from one line to the other gener
