Simple answer is no you cannot do it and why would you?.. is it a cost saving thing? As Dave F correctly points out you have a fair amount of noxious fumes to handle that aren't getting exhausted if you switch of the extraction so they will go to you

I am considering moving my spray fluxer into a completely separate operation. Has anybody any comments of sraying VOC free flux on boards, then putting them in a drier/holding rack for possibly say overnight, then running them through wave solder?
