HI WELL WE HAVE PLACED BGA,S AT A COMPANY ON A TRIAL BASIS, THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT YOU USE A PART DATA WITH A SQUARE PART IE PART TYPE 2 WITH A VERY SMALL BODY TOL .THIS WORKS WELL ON LARGE BGA,S BUT PLEASE PRE ROTATE AND MOVE AS SLOW AS POSSIBLE.

The witness pattern is one column formed by individual dots as well as dot pairs. The two dots which make up a pair are both side by side as well one under the other. Thanks

Recently, someone in the SMTNET forum had installed a Wells-CTI Z-Lok socket and found that it was one row off from the board layout pads. Was the problem due to a layout error or was the datasheet incorrect?
