Lookit here, Mugwump, The SMT community at large is composed of a vast array of expeiences, some barely with SMT 101 behind them to others who have probably already forgotten more than you'll ever learn. Without direct, personal contact of any

Sorry let me explain. It is a ratio. When buying a machine 80% of my evaluation is with the Support. The other 20% is the machine its self. I read the Brochures and Capabilities to narrow my search to the machines meeting my needs. From there i am c

First of all i want to say thanks for your answer. There is one thing which makes me a little bit curious about your answers. Why did Koh Young and Parmi having around 15.000 spi systems in the field. Why do koh young advertise with the slogan to be

Also note , KY is SPI company and there 3D technology is just SPI tweaked to do 3D AOI, same can be said of Mirtec but bit better than KY. Generally they are slow in capture and this is why in EU and say high volume sites 3D has not penetrated much.

I agree with 3DAOI.com, in that you should be looking at Cyberoptics. They have a great product if you MUST have both of these processes in line, and if you must have 3D AOI. If you are willing to go offline, and want to get both AOI and SPI in one

Yes VISCOM uses Cyberoptiocs for SPI as they have a great optic head, but VISCOMS Ultra 2D/2.5D/3D head is best in market, I would say much better than Cyberoptics from a technical specification perspective. Has heighest part 3D height image renderin

Perfect explanation of SPI as a whole. The point I would challenge is considering KY as the premier product for SPI. Yes, this fact could have been backed up 2-3 years ago. Today, KY is just another leading contender for SPI. CyberOptics along wi
