Electronics Forum | Tue Aug 28 15:16:06 EDT 2007 | rgduval

Sorry...make that .750 long wires, with .125 strips. My mechanical mind was working, but the fingers couldn't translate correctly.

Solder Joint Strength Comparison

Electronics Forum | Wed Sep 05 10:13:21 EDT 2007 | slthomas

When I worked for a med. device company it was always great fun to observe the UL testing. Everyone would gather around the stairwell and say bon voyage to an $8k piece of gear. This was NOT a test of the mechanical strength of soldered connections

Fuji Calibration Jig

Electronics Forum | Mon Sep 24 04:00:07 EDT 2007 | muarty

We currently have a FeederMaster Fuji calibration Jig for sale. Works in a similar way to the Gam 20 (which is a pretty decent machine itself), if you require any further info then drop me a mail.

Electronics Forum | Thu Nov 15 12:11:40 EST 2007 | George

I use Pentagon EMS (503) 924-2747 with Chad Haima. Note: I do not get a penny for referals. I just like the service, super fast, high quality and excellent customer service. I have worked with them for about 4 years. Thanks, George

Topaz placement event sequence question (long, rambling)

Electronics Forum | Fri Sep 14 02:59:09 EDT 2007 | saab

Out of curiosity, I measured the vacuum levels on our Topaz. With a #31 nozzle the values read somewhere between 130 and 150 when open and about 200 when blocked. The component pickup works fine with no errors with these values

Universal has been producing Lightning pick and place heads for some years now. How are these heads performing these days? Speed, component range, reliability. Who has worked with them?

That sounds good. I hope You take all the good ideas that a lot of people here in the forum suggested a while ago, under consideration. Such as improved search engine as well. Keep up the good work! Sincerely.

BTU VIP 98 Problem

Electronics Forum | Tue Oct 02 20:26:18 EDT 2007 | marcelll

Thanks for the help guys. I found that serial port 2 was bad on the computer. Not able to change it to com 1 in the config. Seems to be protected by a factory password. So I had to change the computer and reload the software. It's working now. Thank
