Please define "worst case for feeder sizes". Quantity? Arrangement? wasted feeder space?

Our worst case would be Quantity. This info is needed to justify the need for more feeders.

In my case most of the PCBs are OSP finishing and worst case of MSD component on bottom side is level 3 (168 hours). You mean that PCB shelf life with bottom side assembled shoud be 84 hours?

How are they being stored and handled? It might be an MSD issue. I think IR reflow would be a worst case scenario.

IPC only allows 25% max voiding. We are able to run at levels much lower than 25% by using a heller 1800 reflow oven. Have not been able to eliminate voids completly. Not even the worst case have we been above 20%.

Ahh that makes a lot of sense. All the boards I will be doing for the next while will be leaded, so I think I'll start with the 1500, and then worst case upgrade later if needed.

Tnks Davef, be patient pls, what does it exactely mean? That one of the two, in case of cleaning needs the flux residues are more difficult to remove for one of the two fluxes ? i.e. NC wire fluxed by ROL0 compared to fluxed REL0, in terms of so

We have had a problem with some resistors on some conformally-coated boards which, after a few months in the field, started going bad -- a real worst-case situation. The resistors would increase in value dramatically and sometimes develop diode-like

Pete & Ken Thanks guys. So it's getting clear that AXI programming and fine tunig takes a lot of time, and that's something that we don't have too much to spend. Next question will be, that can anyone recommed any automatical inspection system for h

Hi All: We are trying to figure out the worst case for feeder sizes on the Panasonic programs. Has anyone pulled this data from the .mix files. Or is there any software that can be downloaded that will do this. We have 100's of .mix files we wo
