Servo alarm X2-axis (FIP-3)

Electronics Forum | Mon Oct 10 22:56:13 EDT 2005 | Alan.

Dave, it could be that you have some dirt or grease on the linear scale for the X-axis. Try getting into the rubber shield with a soft brush or perhaps a spray. Threebond Super Cleaner 6602 is very good for this purpose as it cleans and dries w

Servo Alarm on FUJI IP-2 (MTU unit)

Over Current means the motor is drawling too much current. Check for a jam on that axis, bad wire, bad motor, bad servo amp (yes the amp can go bad and make it appear that the motor is drawling too much current). Jerry

Help needed to troubleshoot a KE2060 machine (location Ireland)

Electronics Forum | Mon Aug 31 09:16:54 EDT 2020 | aurash

After reading the machine logs it seems that the problem is on the X-axis but the safety mechanism is disabling all the Servos and the Axis system (all axes) are in error state (that's why the error messages are showing on different axes) The JUKI m

Contact System CS-400 E problems

I did some work with 400E's and have can give you a couple things to try with your Y axis problem. 1. There is a file called stepperparms.exe that will load all the stepper parameters on the PCL IC's. Your y axix chip may have corrupt data on it.

What is the difference between Linear Drive or Rack and pinion

Electronics Forum | Thu Oct 04 09:32:23 EDT 2007 | dilbert

Linear drive uses linear motors that have no moving parts, strictly a coil over magnets. "Rack and Pinion" as you call it uses AC servo motors that are driving belts and pullies The linear motor has no moving parts and is faster but generates a lot

I was asking if it was a TP9 2U...... If you have a UFP machine then you are in luck. It is most likely the small X-motor. You can test it in the service program. Does the X-axis bounce when you are trimming magazines and stepping through placement

Contact 3AV-100. PCL-240AK position Error. Machine not hommed

Electronics Forum | Fri Jan 28 15:22:07 EST 2011 | dougt

The PLC240-AK is an IC on the stepper board used to control all the stepper driven axis. I don't remember which axis are driven by stepper motors, possibly the table (x axis). Which axis acts wierd or doesn't move when you home the machine?

without knowing your machine, I guess the axis does not find the zero pulse. You may have to re-place the incremental or linear encoder for the X-axis. Some vendors use proximity switches for a zero pulse which could be defective. If the axis stops i

Mydata A12 tool tip damage

You dont mention if it is ONLY occuring with the A12 or is it other tools as well? Only spring tools or Stiff ones? Regardless of that, the small X Wagon motor is controlled by the track ball and the bigger X Axis motor is controlled by the joystic
