Hi Senior, Which ones are you looking at? I've had a brief sniff at Scienscope, Creative Electron, and Visiconsult, but it is always something that feels like a nice to have and not a must have so never makes it in the budget.

VJE , Optical Control , Visiconsult have been field proven and all three companies give the best support. VJE is affordable and one of the first in the market.

Yes, we ended up with VisiConsult. Technical support is A++ and I really like the simplicity of the software interface and the counting cloud. Anytime you run into a shape that will not count correctly, you take several x-ray photos and upload them
