CP642 Ballscrew Replacement

Hi All, The x-axis ballscrew on the x-y table of our Fuji CP642 is getting very noisy. Could someone in the know please run me through the procedure for changing the ballscrew and will any calibration be required after fitting? Any help much apprec

Im using the CAD5 macros but upon importing files from USB to machine im seeing a "Unexpected Data at line 1". Can some one tell me what im doing wrong. i line up my coloumns as follow. X,Y,R,Part #, Reference Designator.

Can anyone tell me the command I need to type to get into machine configuration in DOS MpM software? I want to change x/y/theta cal. settings to adjust for vision offset because I don't have the fixtures to do a calibration.

Almost every machine can import plain ASCII files, internal formats vary a lot and usually are in some kind of binary format. My suggestion is to generate plain ASCII file with at minimum 5 fields : X, Y, theta, RefDes and component type. - Deni

REAR, NEXT TO TABLE UP AND DOWN. CHANGE FEEDER SET UP TO FIX TRAY. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CORRECT NUMBER OF X,Y COMPONENTS IN TRAY AND NUMBER OF TRAY FOR THE PART.

I think I can do it with MEdit. I don't have clue how to measure these x/y positions by different method.

In that case, please consider one block skip mark, the same first sequence for all programs, view some feature of the X-Y table, not the PCB, that way, its just a habit. I will look into preventing advance pick, not sure if it is possible.

Have you taught the tray position in correctly, I dont know that particular machine but you normally teach in 3 positions. When you have done this have you re-optimised?

I have been asked a very good question but have not been able to find a good answer. IPC for both PCB and PCBA refer to the X & Y dimensions to measure warp and twist but how would you determine the warp and twist for a round PCB or PCBA?
